Highly productive month so far by the versital, point guard, Cameron Thompson! Along with being named Challenger of the Month, Cameron was also listed on the Honor Roll with a 89.0 average. He has also been nominated as a All-Star in the NYC Millennium Classic and lastly has been featured in an article for being the first 8th grader to play on the High School Varsity basketball in school history while leading his team to the plyoffs. CHALLENGERS MAKE FINAL FOUR
Challengers make it through a tough first day at the annual Orange and Black Gauchos Weekend Tournament. Against stiff competition, the Challengers went 2-1. Including a nail biting victory in double overtime against the Gauchos in their own gym. The 16 and under crew went on to lose in the semi-finals against the tough Long Lighting team.
CHALLENGERS WINS IN I.S.8 DEBUT
Leading from start to finish, C.T.A. Junior High Schoolers went on to win in convincing fashion in their iS8 Winter League debut. Getting contributions from whom ever stepped on the floor, C.T.A. was able to win this one in comfortable fashion. Look for the Challengers to return next week to play against stiffer competition when going up against St. Vincent's on January 18th, 2014 at iS8 in Jamaica.
CHALLENGERS STEAMROLLS THE SUMMER
The Compete To Achieve Challengers entered the New York City summer circuit for the first time, looking to create a name for themselves. Participating in top city tournaments, against well known AAU programs the Challengers had the odds stacked up against them. Although it was not easy, the Challengers took home trophies at every age bracket in dominate fashion.

Compete to Achieve is a non-profit organization that is heavily involved in the community. Teaching the youth the tools to be successful in life is the number one priority. Based in New York City, New York, Compete to Achieve is quickly making a name for itself by handling business on and off the court. Tutoring, SAT Prep and counseling are some of the many assistance offered for educational purposes. With facilities consisting of weight rooms, an olympic size pool, and top-notched basketball courts, CTA is able to provide affective training methods to help develop their student athletes. With a group of coaches that range in both age and experience, the Compete to Achieve staff all share the common goal of helping the next generation become all they can be.
